Chief Strategy Officer
Mark arrived in Canada from the UK in 2013 after making the decision to leave the UK, the birthplace of planning, where he was leading a strategy team at Leo Burnett that included nearly 40 planners and researchers.
During his time at Leo his main client responsibility was running planning for Kellogg UK after the entire business was consolidated into the agency. Mark subsequently went on to head up planning for Kellogg Europe.
Unusually dedicated to effectiveness (even for a planner), while he was at Leo, Mark's department won two of the world-renowned IPA Effectiveness Golds; while he was at TAXI in Toronto, the agency won a string of Cassies, as well as Effies for its work on Kraft. At Juniper Park\TBWA, he has led the charge in winning multiple Cassies and an Effie for Nissan.
In 2014, Tomblin was also named the first chair of the Account Planning Group of Canada, a position he continues to hold.
